i know the title includes asperger's. however, other than that, it's actually a really good book created by a professor. it discusses how autistic people process information, and using that as a way to form a model for how it works. the author, olga bogdashina, actually listens to autistic peopls and is for the most part very respectful. there are many others by this author that i will include in this library in the future, because shes 're just So Good!!!
please note that, because these are medical articles, they may contain stigmatizing, medical, and ableist language. however, they still contain information that may be useful. therefore, i've decided to include these resources.
cripplepunk is a movement for physically disabled people that does away with the "inspirational" image of disability that able-bodied people represent us with. it combines punk and disability advocacy!
neuropunk is a similar movement to cripplepuk, but is for mentally ill and neurodiverse people. there is also MAD pride (specific for people with mental illness, embracing your 'madness', and calling out the unethical practices in psychiatry.) and autipunk (which is specific to autistic people.)
